O'Hanlon's BarBernard O'Hanlon , Teach An Droichid, Mullach Ban, Co. DownO'Hanlon's Bar is renowned throughout Ireland as the foremost venue for Traditional Irish Music. With traditional sessions a common occurrence, sometimes helped by the bar-staff themselves, the Public House itself is never short of entertainment. Recent events in the country have brought new faces to the area, with the cease-fire of two years ago we welcomed new tourists to the area. Now with the opening of a new major cultural and accommodation centre we have no problem catering for the largest group of visitors. That a small village can achieve so much is a tribute to its people, who maintain a natural link with the traditions of the past. This link is personified in the ownership of the Public House, now into its 13th generation of the same name. | |
